Swipe: A bloody object coming into contact with a non-bloody object /surface.
 
 
The following stains are swipes in blood created with a wig. The directions of these swipes are right to left. Notice the feathering that occurs at the end of each swipe as well as the progression of a lighter transfer from the first picture to the last as blood is being deposited.
