Here is an experiment my son helped me with while using BlueStar for the first time. BlueStar, like luminol helps the investigator detect trace amounts of blood at crime scenes. The chemicals in luminol and/or BlueStar react with the iron contained in hemoglobin creating a chemiluminescense effect.
