High Velocity Experiment: Fan

I first saw this experiment done while attending my basic bloodstain class and wanted to duplicate it for further understanding. It provides light to understanding how machinery can produce HVIS stains and unique patterns. The experiment was completed by holding cardboard panels on each side of a fan while drops of blood were released by a dropper above the fan blades. Panels were held approximately 3 to 4" from the sides of the fan. Notice the linear patterns that were created. Seems to me that a similar pattern might be achieved by using power circular saws.
